Pre Purchase Inspections

Are you looking for that perfect car? Well, lucky for you, a sound investment begins with the proper purchase. Oak Grove Autosport are your Mercedes, Porsche, and Ferrari pre-purchase inspection specialists. Our technicians will put your future vehicle through a very rigorous multi-point inspection, analyze its running condition and diagnose any current noticeable issues. Upon completion you will receive a written report and pictures of the vehicle to keep for your records. This report also acts as detailed proof of purchase for out of town customers. We are available to perform pre-purchase inspections for all exotic and European vehicles, simply email or give us a call to schedule an appointment. Typical street cars will take about an hour and a half for inspections, some exotics and classic Mercedes/Porsche vehicle's reach upwards of 3 hours for inspections as in some cases door panels, etc must be removed to confirm if the car is numbers matching. All vehicles go through a road test, if possible. 

Regarding PPIs: We do not help people sell cars that are in for purchase inspections, nor do we make specific recommendations on whether or not to make a purchase. We provide an honest assessment and information about that specific vehicle which may allow the buyer or seller to make a decision. Purely objective. While this sometimes may result in information which isn’t what you are hoping to hear, we are being paid to be honest about accessing a car's condition, and we take that job seriously. 

Mercedes

We pride ourselves in our Mercedes Benz knowledge and service capability. All modern Mercedes (96-present) are placed on our factory STAR/Xentry diagnostic system and the health report is included in your pre-purchase inspection report. All classic Mercedes go through a rigorous health test that includes an engine and interior vacuum integrity test. Any classic Mercedes owner knows the tribulations a faulty vacuum system can cause, know what you're getting into before making your purchase. 

Porsche

Buying a Porsche isn't just buying a car, it's an investment. Beyond the scope of typical inspections, air cooled cars pre-79 will have their valve covers removed to check for broken head studs along with a compression test. The water cooled era of cars will have a DME report for over revving included in the health report. 

Ferrari

Everything from sticky buttons, timing belts, F1 pumps, to clutch wear indication on F1 equipped cars, every last detail is gone through with extraordinary detail to ensure your Ferrari purchase is well informed.
